Beginning Birders Walk

Fourth Monday of the month
Canceled in poor weather (heavy rain).
Great for beginners; you can even borrow binoculars and a field guide from the office! Led by Tahoma Bird Alliance volunteer Andrew Larson. Meet at our Headquarters office, then tour the Adriana Hess Wetland park and spot birds.

Come appreciate the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge! Tahoma Bird Alliance (formerly Tahoma Audubon Society) led the effort to protect this estuary in the 1970s. This walk is led by volunteer Julia Dolan. Bring a waterproof layer as weather on the estuary can be unpredictable! More details on our calendar.

Join a knowledgeable volunteer for Feederwatch. Watch birds from the comfort of our conference room as you build your bird ID skills and help gather valuable data on urban bird populations for Project Feederwatch. No RSVP needed.
