She is a self-taught photographer who has taught this class in the past to rave reviews!

About Heather:

"I'm an advanced amateur birder/ bird photographer.  I like the challenge of finding and photographing the wee birds in the bush. I've recently completed a bucket list drive around the US, towing a 5th wheel. My goal was to see National Parks and Monuments, see the total eclipse, visit family, and BIRD as many states as possible. At the completion of the trip, I had collected eBird checklists from 41 states!"

General Class Information

Bring your camera and it's manual, and be prepared to take notes. For the fieldtrips, dress for the weather and be prepared to walk over uneven terrain. Bring a water bottle, a snack if you'd like, a pair of binoculars, and of course, your camera!

The first session of this class on June 5th will focus on camera use and what settings are best for various outdoor conditions. Saturday, June 8th, join your classmates on a morning fieldtrip to Titlow Beach to put your new photography techniques to work. The class concludes June 12th with a photo review session.
