Tahoma Bird Alliance's Annual Birdathon is back, and we are aflutter with excitement!
Birdathon has been helping Tahoma Bird Alliance support our education and conservation programming since the 70s! As our largest fundraiser of the year, we count on funds from Birdathon to help us support programs such as 10k Trees, Birdability, advocacy, stewardship, education and our commitment to help save birds in Pierce County.
How It Works:
-
Teams will go out birding, carefully counting the different species they see.
-
Supporters pledge a dollar amount for each species the group spots, OR they can donate a set amount.
EXAMPLE: A supporter pledges $5 per species. The Team that they support spots
30 different bird species on their bird walk. The Supporter will then donate $150 to TBA.
