Bryan Mohlman
Bryan grew up in Southern California, spending much of his youth in the few natural open spaces available nearby. After moving to Washington in 2014, he was struck by how green and alive the landscape was. With an understanding of how urbanization can impact local birds and native plant communities, Bryan decided to take a positive step toward preserving and restoring habitat in Pierce County. He earned a master’s in environmental studies from The Evergreen State College and now works with the Pierce Conservation District, managing volunteers at critical restoration sites. Bryan believes that small, consistent actions add up, and that together we can make a meaningful difference for our watershed and the wildlife that depend on it.

Jan Regier
A native of Whatcom County, Jan has maintained a lifelong passion for the natural beauty of the PNW, and her concern for the environment led to a 16- year association with one of America’s pioneering renewable energy companies. After retiring from a career in medical speech-language pathology throughout greater Seattle, Jan moved to Tacoma where she started volunteering with Tahoma Bird Alliance. She is also an active classical musician and serves on the executive board of the Tacoma chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
