Morse Wildlife Preserve
Beginning with a generous donation of land from Lloyd and Maxine Morse, Morse Wildlife Preserve is situated at the headwaters of the north fork of Muck Creek. The preserve comprises over 90 acres of remnant Garry Oak prairie, coniferous forest, wetland, and meadow. This varied terrain supports numerous species of birds and other wildlife.
This is a private preserve which is open to the public for special events, scheduled field trips, and Second Sundays at Morse. Second Sundays occur on the second Sunday of the month from April through October, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Remember to wear your boots! Binoculars are also a favorite to help you identify the abundant birds and other creatures.
To protect wildlife and people, no pets are permitted on Preserve property.
