Poetry in the Park

Poetry in the Park connects people to nature by engaging our senses with the environment around us.

Made possible through partnerships with these local library systems.

Self-guided Poetry Walks in September

We've partnered with the Pierce County Library System and Tacoma Public Library for Poetry in the Park. Poetry in the Park is free, annual public art display across nine parks in Tacoma and Pierce County. Signs featuring classic and contemporary nature themed poems are displayed September through October.  Join us for one of the guided walks below, or enjoy the poems any time during the month.
